Questions

Does Horizon work with my other cards or my bank?

No. Horizon is made for Apple Card, and also reads Apple Cash and Savings. It doesn't connect to other credit cards, banks or budgeting services, and there's no bank login to add one.

I'm on someone else's Apple Card. Can I use Horizon?

If you're a co-owner, yes: Horizon shows both co-owners' purchases. If you're a participantin Apple Card Family, no. Apple doesn't share the card with apps for participants, or Apple Cash with children using Apple Cash Family. The card's owner sees your purchases in Horizon and can assign them to you under Settings › Members.

Can I try it without Apple Card?

Yes. On an iPhone without Apple Card, or on an iPad before your iPhone has synced, tap Try Sample Data or Explore Sample Datato look around an invented household. Nothing in it is anyone's real spending.

My iPad says it's waiting for my iPhone.

iPad can't read Apple Card itself, so it shows what your iPhone reads, through iCloud. Open Horizon on your iPhone first, make sure Sync with iCloudis on in Horizon's Settings on both devices, and that both are signed in to the same Apple Account. The first sync can take a few minutes.

I share Apple Card with someone. Can Horizon tell who bought what?

A shared card shows both co-owners' purchases, but Apple doesn't say who made each one. Add your household under Settings › Members, assign a purchase from its details, and make a rule (“Starbucks is Alex”) so the next ones assign themselves.

A purchase is in the wrong category.

Open it and change its Category. To fix every purchase from that merchant, tap Create Rule. Your own changes always win over a rule.

Why doesn't this month's total match Wallet?

Overview counts what you spent: purchases minus refunds. Payments to the card, interest, Daily Cash and money moved into Savings aren't spending, so they're left out. For what you owe, open the card under Accounts.

If a statement balance differs from Wallet's, it's usually an Apple Card Monthly Installments plan. Horizon asks you to type in one statement balance from Wallet, and matches every statement after that.

Horizon says Apple Card isn't connected.

Access was turned off. Allow it again in Settings › Privacy & Security › Financial Data on your iPhone, or tap Open Settings in Horizon.

Can I lock Horizon?

Yes. Turn on Require Face ID in Horizon's Settings › Privacy. Whether or not it's on, the app switcher shows a cover instead of your spending.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting Horizon removes what it keeps on that device. To remove the copy in your iCloud, go to Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage on your iPhone, choose Horizon, and delete its data. Nothing is kept anywhere else. The privacy policy has the details.

What does Horizon cost?

Nothing. Horizon is free, with no in-app purchases, no ads and no account.
